Sunset Hour Radio

Although of course we are avid bloggers, most of our love goes into our weekly radio show. For all those who've missed out on some of the shows, here are some short interviews we did with various artists this year.

Egyptian Hip Hop

Egyptian Hip Hop are frighteningly young. And strangely enough, interviewing them was daunting because they were so much cooler than us. They seemed baffled by our questions, and often we were baffled by their answers, but it was good to try and get into the heads of what has been branded 'the sound of 2010'.

Miike Snow 6/11/09
Miike Snow are excellent. They are all hilarious- one witty, one wierd, one dry. They are friendly and down to earth. And they made one of the best albums of 2010, as well as Britney's 'Toxic'. What's not to love.

The Drums 06/05/10

The Drums have achieved more success in a year than most bands manage in a lifetime. We decided to check out what they've got going on and learnt that none of them can surf, florence is crazy and they've never really listened to the beach boys. But while they didn't make a lot of sense in person ('all we can say is what we know'?, 'every song is a photograph in time'?) they've kind of got it going on onstage, so maybe we just weren't on their wavelength. Anyway, take from it what you will:
